KLG LIQUIDA® - Statement on possible contamination of sun protection factors

The raw material DHHB (DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE) is purchased and used by us. We requested a statement from the relevant suppliers on 27.02.2024.

In cooperation with the BAV Institut für Hygiene und Qualitätssicherung GmbH and others, we will take proactive measures: these include the testing of products containing DHHB. The aim is to determine the presence and, if necessary, the concentration of a possible DnHexP-contamination.

Due to the volume of samples required, it will probably not be possible for us to rely solely on retained samples from our laboratories. If your company is affected, we will contact you to clarify the details of the testing procedure.
